Ensure your Cummins cylinder head stays securely clamped to the block with the Full Send Diesel Clamp Lock Head Stud Kit. Engineered and tested to deliver consistent clamping force, this kit helps prevent head lift and head gasket failure in both stock and high-performance applications.

Each stud is verified to 225,000 PSI tensile strength, with individual testing ranging from 222,778 PSI to 250,190 PSI, and an average of 228,579 PSI. Designed to support builds from stock power levels up to 800 HP, these studs provide the reliability you need under load.

Like all Full Send Diesel products, this kit is backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty, giving you confidence in both performance and durability.

Fitment:

Installation Recommendations:

For best results, follow the factory torque sequence and complete the torque process in multiple stages:

  • First pass: 60 ft-lbs
  • Second pass: 100 ft-lbs
  • Final pass: 145 ft-lbs

After initial installation and heat cycling the engine, we highly recommend performing a hot re-torque to 145 ft-lbs to ensure proper clamping force and long-term reliability.

Important Notes:

  • It is highly recommended to chase all threads in the block prior to installation and clean the holes thoroughly with compressed air.
  • Hand-thread the studs into the block only—do not torque them in.
  • Once a stud bottoms out, back it out approximately 1/4 turn to ensure proper clamping and prevent binding.
