Upgrade and restore your Dodge Ram Cummins transmission with Muldoon’s Performance Transmission’s 47/48RH/RE Rebuild Kit. Designed for durability and performance, this comprehensive rebuild kit includes premium clutches, steels, and critical components needed to properly refresh your automatic transmission.
While this kit is fully compatible with 47RH, 47RE, and 48RE transmissions (1994–2007), many of the internal hard parts and friction components—like clutches, steels, and bands—can also be used in 1989–1993 trucks with the A518 / 46RH (727) transmission. Some parts, such as overdrive seals and extra friction plates, will not fit the shorter 727 case, so only the usable components should be selected for those older transmissions.
Built with high-quality friction materials from Raybestos, BorgWarner, and Alto, this kit delivers increased holding capacity, improved longevity, and reliability for towing, daily driving, and performance applications.

- (10) BorgWarner overdrive direct clutches
- (6) Alto G3 overdrive brake clutches
- Complete set of new steels (including thick overdrive direct steel)
- BorgWarner flex band (stronger, more reliable than Raybestos)
- New thrust washers
- Oil pump bushing
- Direct drum bushing
- Full gasket and seal kit (lip seals, paper gaskets, sealing rings)
- Replacement overdrive direct snap ring
- New Belleville spring
- Machined direct drum pressure plate
- Transmission filter

Note: Some early 2007 trucks may still be equipped with a 48RE, while later models switched to the 68RFE. Always verify transmission model before ordering.
