The XDP Wrinkle Black HD High Output Alternator XD349 is a high-output replacement for the underperforming alternator in your 2006-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. Many Powerstroke trucks are equipped with aftermarket accessories like off-road lightbars, audio systems, snow plows, and other electrical add-ons.
The capacity of your factory charging system can be quickly overwhelmed with these common and popular additions.
The output of this HD Series Alternator is substantially better than your OEM alternator, allowing you to keep up with the requirements of any aftermarket equipment. Each unit is coated in a wrinkle-black finish to prevent corrosion while also enhancing the engine bay of your truck.
Each unit is pre-tested before shipping with included results. This alternator comes ready for installation using the factory mounting points, original connections, and the factory sized belt.

I'm totally pleased with my purchase and all the up grades that I've done to accommodate the FSD Heat Exchanger. Everything is working good and if i could i would add another one and also add a coolant bypass.
